What's new in AUD? Just another port or did they add something this time?

What does everybody think of it? Question

I have seen the latest version and while it is mostly a Port, they have added or upgraded several things.

AUD now make use of Tool Palettes, which I think are easier to use then Pop-down menus or tool bars, they have several Tool Palettes using the example data to look at.

There are several new commands:
AUDINFO - Displays a tool tip containing all facility information for a selected object. It is an updated version of the UDSMATINFO command for quick and easy viewing of facility information.

AUDSHOWPALETTE - Causes the indicated tool palette or group to be shown. AUD 2005 ships with several default tool palettes and this command can be used to create menu/toolbar picks that allow easy navigation between the various tool palettes. This can also be used to navigate to any custom tool palettes you may have created.

AUDAUTOLABEL - Allows the specification of a line label prior to digitization. After digitizing the line work, the specified labeling will be automatically applied. Use this command in conjunction with a digitization command like LINE, ARC, or PLINE.
Tool Palettes - There are now default tool palette sets that provide enhanced access to the most commonly accessed AUD commands as well as many pre-defined shortcut macros for digitization of commonly used facilities.

They have also added several new API's that are useful to external Developers, who want
to customize AUD for a specific Utility.

Over all from a developer’s standpoint this is a definite improvement, hopefully they will keep adding to the API in future releases.

Of course there were some bug fixes.
