- Creating a Location Map
- The Zoom Facility feature is used to create a location map, which provides the basis for a work order. (Running time: 3 minutes, 30 seconds)
- Posting a Work Order to a Map
- Our technician posts a new lateral off the main line using numerous NuMap features including: Zoom Facility, Split Polyline, Draw Facility, Automatic Data Extraction, Color-by-Phase, Move Attributes and Facility Property Edit. (Running time: 17 minutes, 47 seconds)
- Posting a Work Order from the Key Map
- Our technician posts a small work order to a specific tiled drawing while working in a seamless environment (using a key map). NuMap features include: Zoom Facility and Draw Facility. (Running time: 6 minutes, 42 seconds)
- Creating and Maintaining the Connectivity Model
- The NuMap Connectivity Management feature is used to build connectivity. (Running time: 4 minutes, 3 seconds)
- Change Phase
- Our technician executes a phase change on an overhead lateral. This change is reflected on all downstream conductors, equipment and facilities. NuMap features include: Query Feeder, Zoom Facility and Change Phase. (Running time: 3 minutes, 42 seconds)
- Creating Customer Mailings for a Planned Outage
- Using the Customer Outage feature, our technician creates a list of customers that would be affected when a device is taken out of service for planned maintenance. This list is then used in conjunction with the Microsoft Word "Mail Merge" feature to generate planned outage form letters. (Running time: 5 minutes, 10 seconds)
- Generating Feeder Maps
- Our technician creates a feeder wall map of a specific substation. NuMap features include: Query Feeder, Color Feeder and Save to Specialty Map. (Running time: 4 minutes, 43 seconds)
